THE ETHICS OF ENVIRONŽ
- EnvironŽ skin care products are only manufactured from the highest quality ingredients.
- Most of the products are free from fragrance, preservatives, colourants and animal extracts. One should understand that EnvironŽ is one of the very few products in the world that does not have any preservatives added to the formula. That means the creams have to be made under very strict laboratory conditions, and that once a tube has been opened it should then be used within 12 weeks or preferably earlier.
- All EnvironŽ products are hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic.
- The finished product has not been tested on animals. They are tested on human volunteers only.
- Each product has been shown, by lengthy clinical testing by Dr. Des Fernandes, to be effective and safe.
Each batch of product is tested by independent laboratories to check:
- The chemical content
- The sterility of the product
EnvironŽ Skin Care cc has attempted to ensure that EnvironŽ products meet the highest standards and therefore the products have been registered with the Departments of Health in Bern, Switzerland; Tokyo, Japan; and New Zealand. They have also been voluntarily registered as a cosmetic by the Federal Food and Drug Administration in the USA*.
To be sure that the demonstrable clinical results are verified by people other than our own personnel, the products have been clinically tested at the Red Cross Children's Hospital in Cape Town, the Department of Plastic Surgery at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town and at two University hospitals in Japan. The clinical results of using EnvironŽ products have been subjected to peer review by being presented at numerous International Plastic Surgery Congresses e.g. New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Okinawa, Taipei, San Paulo, Sydney, Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and Sun City (South Africa) amongst others.
