I have to tell you that I really like the Retinol 2 and I have been using the Cosmetic Roll-CIT and have seen a difference. I also like the eye gel and the C - Quence Cream quite a lot as well. Love the RAD. I really feel it's level of protection is far better than 16 SPF. The girls like the claytech mask and I do as well. They use it in the back bar. Everyone also loves the Essential Oil

There have been a few posts on favorite products, so I thought the end of the year would be a good time to report on my "half face" experiment with the Environ products.

I have been using the Environ pre-cleanser (Aquatrol), toner, and "Claytech Masque" (a bit different from conventional masks) on my whole face. I have also been suing a dermalogica cleanser on my whole face; because I have a lot of it, and didn't feel like purchasing another one right now! I have only been using the Environ C-Quence, vitamin A&C treatment and the C-Quence Crème antioxidant moisturizer on the right side of my face. On the left side, I have been suing a combination of Dermalogica and Mark Lees moisturizers. I have used sunscreens on both halves. I have also been using Environs Roll-CIT device on the right side, which assists in greater penetration of the products.

I have been doing this for approximately one month. BTW - I am a white, 53-year "young" female (Type II-III) with moderate acne scarring, large pores, congestion, major sun damage and the usual aging/stress challenges!

First, I have seen an improvement in the congestion on my entire face. I can only contribute this to the additional use of the Environ pre-cleanser, toner and mask, since I have been using the cleanser for almost a year now. It is still not completely clear, but shows about a 60-75% improvements. I'll take it!

Next, and I think more significant, is the change in the overall appearance of the right side of my face. In all fairness, my right side was always my "better" side…but I really analyzed the two sides before I began in terms of sagging, depth of character lines, wrinkles, etc. Not much difference between the two a month ago. I also paid attention to acne scars, tightness, hydration and general skin condition.

Overall, the right side of my face looks slightly "lifted"…not as sagging, the lines looking a bit less obvious. The two areas I am most pleased with are around the corners of the mouth (really from the nose down to the chin) and under my eyes. The skin on the right side is more hydrated, although I still would like to see it go further. So far, I don't see much change in the scarring. But I did notice early on that when I cleanse my face, the skin on the right side feels plumper… and that is also evident upon inspection.

I have not told anyone (until now) which side of my face I was experimenting on. In the past week, I have asked several of my clients, my family members, my co-workers and even some almost strangers at the gym if they see a difference in the two sides! I cover up one side, then the other…and also have them look overall.

Every one of them has picked the right side as the "better" side! When asked to describe the difference between the two, they tell me the right side looks more lifted, healthier, younger, etc. So my 30 day report and experience is very positive! I am looking forward to continuing on. My initial resolve to experiment for three months has been modified, however. I have proven to myself that it really has made a visible difference and therefore will start using it on my whole face starting in the new year…I'm just to impatient to start improving that left side! There is both wonderful science and logic behind these products, which makes them very saleable in my opinion. I believe that the best candidates for their use will be those who are serious about improving their skin and willing to commit to a program.

I attended a great class in Orlando last weekend - the basic information class that Environ provides (free) to those interested in using their products. It was awesome information taught by Janine Ellenberger, MD. The class was two days and provided basic information on skin physiology and their product. I see Environ as a serious departure from the "Peel'em repeatedly" products-more about vitamins and antioxidants than glycolic and has good treatments too-also has the peels of course since it is a cosmeceutical line, but uses them with the vitamins and antioxidants. The second day was bout peels and treatments. Janine Ellenberger is a wonderful educator-brings complex explanations well within the range of understandability and within a range of respect for skin care professionals that I don't generally see form most M.D.s. I really like her and her way of training. Learned a lot! I highly recommend this education - if you have an opportunity to attend one try to do so, it you can. You will learn a lot!
